Admission Procedure:-

Adult Intellectual Disabled Person from mild to moderate level having IQ between 70 to 36 belonging to any religion caste, socio-economic status and language are eligible for admission.

Steps followed for Admission:-

First of all a Adult Intellectual Disabled Person is assessed in the Diagnostic Clinic.

1. Medical Assessment, Speech & Language Assessment & Physio-Occupational Therapy Assessment are got carried out. Reports are collected and a conclusion is drawn. The parents of the child are guided/counseled accordingly. If a Adult Intellectual Disabled Person is found eligible, he is given admission. The Adult Intellectual Disabled Person who is not found eligible his parents is guided to other Institutions for admission.

Age Limit:

1. Residential Setting: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years

2. Day-Care Setting:- Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years

Conditions for Admission under Residential Setting:-

• The Adult Intellectual Disabled Person must be toilet trained (For Residential setting only)

• The Adult Intellectual Disabled Person must not be having epileptic seizures.( For Residential Setting only)

• The Adult Intellectual Disabled Person must not be having Hyperkinesias.( For Residential Setting only)
